Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 (February 27, 2010) Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a quiet town which is situated in the West Island, which is part of the Montreal island. People who aren't familiar with the name mistakenly believe that it is the West Island extends westward from Montreal. Actually, the West Island includes everything westward from the city of Lachine. Amanda Brugel was born there and her time within the city was brief. Brugel was raised in Courtice outside Oshawa Ontario. She was determined to become a professional dancer but due to her rapid increase in her height, she surpassed all of her dancing colleagues. She admitted in an article published by The Toronto Star that she is 6'1" tall while wearing heels. As I grew older than my male friends, I quit. In Brugel's case, it was the encouragement of one of her drama teachers from high school, which prompted her to pursue acting. It was the teacher who recommended she pursue a role for the annual school production. After a few auditions, she ended up as the leading lady on stage in Anne of Green Gables. She was given a Fine Arts Talent Scholarship to take part in York University's Theater Program, where she graduated in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. Since then, Brugel has been participating in numerous productions on big screens and smaller ones. Her most significant notoriety when she got her performance as Rita of the acclaim-winning series The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel is the only Canadian actress in the season 1 which was only seen in a few episodes.
